Terell Ham is a Florence, SC native. Alumni of Wilson High School. He has always had a passion for food and started learning to cook at the age of 13. The Food and Beverage industry took him over as it wasn’t his original career path. The fast pace, always unexpected and opportunity to meet new people daily was a rush for him. He original focus was Computer Information Systems. He has an identical twin and younger brother.
His career got started in Charleston, SC when he moved there in 2004 to work at the Market Pavilion Hotel as their Guest Service Manager and soon moved to the Food and Beverage side after some consideration from his owners. He’s been the General Manager of Poogan’s Porch & The Drawing Room previously in The Vendue Hotel.
During his time at Poogan’s Porch, Terell was able to be a part of 2 separate James Beard Dinners in NYC they were invited to host and an experience that only showed why this industry is such a pleasure to be a part of.
His 12 years in Charleston lead him home though, to take over the reins in his hometown, as our General Manager.
He’s a fan of crazy socks and always tries to keep the environment upbeat at all time. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, visiting friends in Charleston when he can, outdoor activities, music, movies, board games and time with his family.
